He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3
The ministry of Deeper Still originated in Knoxville, Tennessee over ten years ago (www.deeperstill.org). The DFW Chapter of Deeper Still began in the Spring of 2021.
In October of 2025, we successfully completed our 10th retreat!!
God is ready to lavish His love and mercy upon this broken world. Through our Deeper Still Retreats, we have come to realize the power of Christian women in community by reaching out to women who are still held captive by the guilt, shame and grief of their past mistakes. The body of Christ has been left on this earth to bring good news of salvation to the afflicted, to bind up the brokenhearted and to set the captives free.
We also recognize the immense need for the fathers of aborted children to receive healing and reconciliation from their role in abortion. As such, our retreats are open to both women and men.
God chooses to use His people as the through-human method of His hands, His mouth and His heart. We who make up Deeper Still are simply saying “yes” to being part of God’s through-human method of healing and restoration.

We are grateful to introduce Tia Wasik as our new Chapter Leader and President. Tia first connected with Michelle in 2015 and has faithfully served Deeper Still DFW since its founding in the Spring of 2021. She brings a deep passion for helping women and men find freedom and healing after abortion and is honored to carry forward Michelle’s legacy here in DFW.
Thank you for your generous support in 2025. Your partnership makes it possible for us to offer free retreats that bring hope and restoration to those in need. Together, we are witnessing powerful transformation—in 2025 alone: 71 retreats, 524 participants, 894 babies memorialized, 65 salvations, and 34 active chapters across the U.S., China, and Taiwan. Deeper Still DFW held two retreats, 17 participants (14 women and 3 men), 21 babies memorialized and five salvations.
As we prepare for our upcoming October retreat, we remain humbled and grateful for your continued support. We could not do this without you.
With gratitude,
Tia Wasik

“Until all are healed.”

It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved Chapter Leader, Michelle Barber, on January 10, 2026. Michelle faithfully led with grace, compassion, and a servant’s heart, touching countless lives through the healing ministry of Deeper Still. Her legacy of love and redemption will continue to impact many for years to come.
